About Emjecting

We are a small team of healthcare workers with more than 45 years of combined inpatient healthcare experience. As island locals, we are fiercely dedicated to our community and aspire to be the kind of practice that builds lasting relationships with our clients. We have a shared ethos of empowering our clients through education – it’s important to us to provide a peaceful, low pressure environment that puts you at ease, encourages meaningful dialogue, and supports you in achieving your prejuvenation/maintenance and rejuvenative/corrective goals.

While we have an extensive, cutting-edge arsenal of select, effective treatments, we are on a mission to provide honest, ethical, and science-based aesthetic care for our clients and believe in a conservative approach. (As Emilie likes to say, “I can always add more, but I can’t always take it away.”)

To protect our personalized client care approach, ensure a high standard of quality care (and to maintain our own happy/healthy work environment), we elect to see fewer clients per day. We offer free consults, and at times, refer people to other practices – we want the best outcome possible for you, and sometimes that involves recommending a service we don’t provide ourselves (like surgery, for example).

More than anything, we value the trust that our clients place in us, and we look forward to meeting you and discussing your treatment goals!

Emilie

Emilie has been working in healthcare for 20 years. She graduated with honors from Medical College of Georgia’s nursing program and worked in hospital CVICU’s caring for post open heart and transplant surgical patients in Georgia and California. During her time as a critical care nurse, she served as President of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

She was then accepted into the top Anesthesia program in the country where she completed her Masters and Doctorate studies in Nurse Anesthesia. For over a decade as an anesthesia specialist, she has cared for all ages during a variety of surgical cases from ear tubes to craniotomies.

She has enjoyed being a member of specialized anesthesia teams for obstetrics, orthopedics and eye surgery, as regional anesthesia such as epidurals, spinals and eye blocks are some of her favorite skills. Emilie has excellent attention to detail and is a proud science “nerd” with a mission to be a lifelong learner. She attends multiple advanced trainings per year as aesthetics is a an ever evolving specialty.

Emilie has trained with some of the biggest and most respected names in the aesthetic industry including Julie Horne, Dr Arthur Swift, Dr Sebastian Cotofana, Rana Kennelly, Dr Thuy Doan, Nicola Lowery, Lori Robertson, Injector Kenz, Dr Theresa Huyen and others.

Emilie and her family reside on Amelia Island and love the sense of community that is unique here. She feels fortunate to have had local support for her small business and been able to grow to mentor and employ other talented local moms pursuing their dreams. Emilie enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, reading, creating, traveling and dog cuddles.

Jessica

Jessica has worked in healthcare for over 10 years – most recently as a Nurse Practitioner for a local surgeon. While she loved that field, she found herself craving an environment that allowed her to exercise both her creativity and knowledge of medicine.

As Jessica says, “Aesthetics has been the perfect fit as it affords me autonomy and a wealth of hands-on treatment opportunities, while also allowing me the time to care for people in a way that they feel heard. I love working with clients to create a personalized treatment plan centered around their goals and with their best interests and safety in mind.”

Jessica empowers her clients to rediscover self-love and to feel confident in their own skin. She strives to provide a safe and positive experience, free from pressure or rushing through an impossible schedule that has become the norm in healthcare. Her favorite procedure right now is laser resurfacing that she appreciates for its transformative effect!

Jessica grew up in Fernandina Beach – a true island native! She left for a time to pursue her education, but has been fortunate to return to raise her 3 kids (and many animals) here, while also being in a position to serve her community as a healthcare professional.

Jessica looks forward to helping her clients achieve their aesthetic goals!

Bre

Breanna has been a nurse for 15 years and has a background in emergency and neurotrauma nursing. She left the bedside in 2016 to care for her twin daughters and welcomed a second set of twin boys in 2020. In between managing the joyful chaos of home life, Breanna works as a freelance health, wellness, and nursing-focused writer. Having known Emilie since 2018, she was delighted to join her at Emjecting in 2022, coming on board as a virtual assistant. Breanna has loved taking an active role in serving clients in a tight knit community once again — getting to support one of the most skilled and compassionate advanced practice nurses in the business is the cherry on top.

In her (very limited) free time, Breanna enjoys anything nature-based on the island and beyond with her kids and husband, Jason, along with the occasional live music-wine-book-club night out with friends!

Beauty is the enchanting melody that dances through our senses, illuminating the world with its captivating hues and timeless grace.
